General Strike

General Strike

Only We the People can call for and then participate in a General Strike.  At this time the corrupt Congress of the United States of America appears oblivious to the white-hot anger of the majority of the voters–not just Occupy, but Independents, all of the excluded parties from Green, Libertarian, and Reform to various elements across the political spectrum, and certainly including most Independents and many moderates abandoning the two-party bi-opoly in search of a fairer, more just, more democratic approach to governance.

For a General Strike to take place, two things have to happen:

First, We the People must endeavor, through personal meetings of constitutent delegations with each and every national Senator and Representative, to ensure that they understand the depth of our anger, and the non-violent solution we are presenting as our only and just demand.

Second, We the People, once satisfied that the corrupt Congress and the two-party bi-opoly are in total denial and refuse to respect the wishes of We the People, must, spontaneously, without any form of hierarchical direction, go on General Strike.  A General Strike is the last non-violent step prior to secession (by state) or violence (by people).  A series of micro-strikes focused on those Senators and Representatives who first refuse to take the national demand for Electoral Reform seriously, could be helpful.  All of this is in the hands of We the People.  This campaign, and this website, stop here, with the presentation for public consideration of a proposed course of action.
